Automation Engineer -
Primary Responsibilities  include application process development, implementation, and verification on Client's platforms involving nucleic acid extraction, amplification, labeling, fragmentation and hybridization. Additional responsibilities include maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and coordination of service for laboratory automation equipment. The successful candidate may also be responsible for leading technical aspects of product development and serve as automation and systems integration representative on cross-functional core teams.

Position Requirements  
This position  requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related Life Science with 5 - 7 years hands-on experience with lab automation instrumentation. A demonstrated ability to simplify complex molecular biology, biochemistry, or related workflows and map to client lab automation platforms is a must. An in-depth understanding of software development methodologies and programming technologies, tools, and techniques is preferred.  Experience with instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting is required. Strong verbal  and written communication skills, the ability to effectively interact on  multi-discipline development teams and quick self-learning capability is essential. Basic engineering design experience using SolidWorks or similar tools is a plus.

Staff Scientist -
Will be responsible for identifying and analyzing advanced device technology trends in volatile and non-volatile memories, defining impact these trends may have, understanding changes in implant requirements and defining, initiating and driving development projects in support of the above. Identify opportunities in adjacent processes, specifically for post implant processing.

Specific responsibilities include:
Perform on an ongoing basis analysis of advanced trends in volatile and non-volatile memories. Quantify impact on implant TAM. Prepare monthly updates for Client executive team.
Identify implant recipe sets for advanced nodes in DRAM, NAND and emerging memory architectures.
Formulate based on the
above info input to BU Product Marketing team on emerging implant requirements, min/max energy range trends,new species, process control, etc. Develop technical justification for setting specs for new Client implant products.
Initiate and provide marketing support to R&D projects to address emerging implant requirements.
Identify trends, threats and opportunities in process equipment segments other than implant, provide input to Client Business Development team.
Establish and manage collaborative relationships with IDMs and universities to drive process development and new applications projects for advanced memories.
Develop technical collateral to support differentiation statements of Client implant products from competition and of new applications vs. non-implant alternatives.
Publish technical papers stressing differentiation of Client products.

Position Requirements 
Requires an MS (Ph.D. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related technical degree and 10+ years of experience in a process engineering position with IC manufacturer or with a major manufacturer of capital equipment for semiconductor industry. Strong understanding of CMOS device physics, materials science of ion implantation into semiconductors and of interdependencies between key implant parameters and electrical characteristics of CMOS devices. Must have an in-depth expertise in device design and process integration in DRAM, Flash memories and knowledge of emerging new memory storage cell architectures. Hands-on experience with qualification, sustaining and troubleshooting of implant problems in advanced device technology. Understanding of unit processes immediately preceding and succeeding ion implantation (clean, PR strip, anneal) and of advanced metrology of ion implant layers. Position will require availability to travel both domestically and internationally (15-20%).

Principal Scientist - Process -
In this position you will work with a team of Scientists, Physicists and Engineers to develop concepts and model / simulate to derive proof of concept.

The ideal candidate requires a good understanding of solar cell fabrication and processing. Also requires a strong background in device & process modeling and simulations. Need to be proficient in several simulation and modeling tools such as PC1D, TCAD, Synopsys etc.  Requires investigating feasibility of multiple novel, disruptive concepts.  Knowledge of third generation solar cell concepts, heterojunction solar cells, III-V multijunctions is desired.

Requirements also include a PhD. in Device Physics, Physics, Chemistry, EE, ChE or Materials Science with a minimum of 5-10 yrs. exp. in semiconductor fabrication

technology or related field. Prefer most of the related experience in the design, modeling and simulation engineering role.   Independent project driving capability with the ability to work in a team environment is essential.  Ability to handle multiple projects (both internally and externally) at the same time and work as part of a cross-functional team is critical. A demonstrated ability to have defined and managed experimental projects and the process to systematically track progress is very essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Goal oriented. Flexibility to travel both internationally and domestically interfacing with development partners and customers is desired.

Sr. Applications/Product Marketing Engineer -
Duties:
Callaborate with a wide variety of internal functional areas such as sales, engineering, Product Managers, Account Managers, manufacturing and operations in support of product marketing and sales activities

Support Field Sales/Account Managers with spec responses, beta evaluations, and other supporting documentation

Participate in the NPI cross functional teams  and support/coordinate beta sites (eg: developing SOW, developing alpha and beta specs, developing  product configuration/product catalog to support order entry process for new tools/capabilities)

Support field communication of engineering change notifications and PSB

Marshall Product involvements through engineering, program management, operations, and support teams to ensure company’s goals are met

Provide context, expertise and source material to support marketing communications for collateral development, web site content, product demos, and presentations

Requirements:

Requires understanding of semiconductor device/semiconductor manufacturing

Work experience in semiconductor OEM a significant plus

Must have good communication and leadership skills

A strong knowledge of Excel/database software programs a plus

Experience in running CoO models, ASP and margin analysis

Must be willing to travel 10-30%

 

Education/Experience

Ideal candidate must have a BS in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering/MS in Business Development with a minimum 5 years of high technology industry experience in the areas of Sales/Marketing/Product Engineering
